Essence of Life A salty smell fills the air while glass bottles shine from the sunlight. Light breaks in, for every day is unexpected. Chimes ring a peaceful tune as the wind plays them, the song is never the same, but I understand why it stands in peace. The sand felt warm as I pushed my toes underneath, as I got deeper, the cooler it became. Sky filled in with blue, no clouds, but a warm sun. My breath flows out as time alters; sunlight vanishes as stars begin moving. The black sky pours a cold breeze over earth, the moon wrinkled in the water as I walk home. Tiles cool like rocks in a cave. The bottles in the windowsill still glowed from the moon, but I kEssence of Life by ~Dark-form1650
